Overview

After experiencing a sudden upheaval in the places and people that were once called home, Karadsheh painted a portrait in 2018 of his mother and grandmother. In contrast to the painting, titled ‘The Two Matriarchs’, this short experimental documentary recaptures its stillness with vigorous motion.
